Hello

Many of you will know us already and have been using us for many years but for those of you who don´t let us introduce ourselves and tell you a little about our story.

Benalrent is a property management business run successfully by husband & wife team Nigel & Ann.

Nineteen years ago we decided to “Live the Dream” and move to Spain. We have never looked back.

We bought a bar in Las Gaviotas in Benalmádena and we called it Smiley´s. We like smiley, happy people :) It took us a while to build the business up and not having any experience in that field at all we think we did a great job. We met some lovely people, some of whom are now friends and are still in contact today.

We also met property owners who live in all parts of the world but own in Spain who needed people they could trust to look after their properties, so hence the start of our second business.

For a while we ran both businesses together but decided to sell Smiley´s in 2010 and concentrate on Benalrent full time.

We now manage over 15 properties all of which are legally registered or in the process of being so.

We are well known for the standard and cleanliness of our apartments and it is very rare we get Tripadvisor reviews less than 4 or 5 stars.

Recently fourteen of the apartments we manage received Tripadvisor´s “Certificate of Excellence”

If we would not stay in any apartment ourselves you will not find it on our website. We know how hard people work for their holidays, as do we, so our aim is to make everything as perfect as possible for you.

So that is our story. We would like to thank all of you who have stayed with us over the years and offer a warm hello to our new guests.
